Mobile development and discussion
Developers for Maemo (the open source Linux-based mobile
platform) met October 9-11 in Amsterdam at the Maemo Summit.

Collaborans develop for Maemo 5 (Fremantle) as well as the upcoming Maemo 6 (Harmattan), so we found it valuable to discuss Maemo and trade tips and plans with the rest of the Maemo community.
Several Collabora staffers were in attendance, including developers Travis Reitter, Ian Monroe, Marco Barisione, and Marc Ordinas i Llopis, and Collabora director Philippe Kalaf. Talks by Collaborans were:
- Travis Reitter discussed "The Maemo 5 Address Book" (slides as ODP)
- Ian Monroe gave the talk "Preparing your Qt Application for Fremantle and Harmattan"
- Marco Barisione spoke on "Telepathy on Maemo" (slides as PDF and ODP)
- Marc Ordinas i Llopis discussed "Extending the Hildon Desktop"
